Imperial College London is inviting applications for Developing Excellence Scheme (DES) for UK and International Applicants. Applicants can be awarded up to the maximum of £1000 from the DES scheme. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to an informal interview and informed of decisions in writing.

Study Subject (s):
Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the Imperial College London.

Training placements at the European Parliament

The European Parliament offers young people who have a secondary-school leaving certificate corresponding to the level required for entry to university, or who have completed a higher or technical course to an equivalent level, the opportunity to undertake training placements. Priority is given to young people who are required to complete a training placement as part of their course of study, provided that they have reached the age of 18 by the first day of the placement.

Traineeship at the Council of the European Union

Each year the General Secretariat of the Council offers three types of traineeships: paid, unpaid and traineeships reserved for national officials.

Trainees will be attached to a department and work as part of the team to which they are assigned. The tasks of the trainees include attending meetings, drafting minutes and carrying out preparatory work or research on a particular subject.

Each year the General Secretariat of the Council offers some 100 paid traineeships lasting 5 months.

Do School Hamburg One-year Start-Up Fellowship for Entrepreneurs, Germany (2016)

The DO school is One-year Start-Up Fellowship for highly motivated and talented emerging social entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs age 21 to 31. Around 20 Fellows will take part in this One-Year Program. Applicants should have strong connection to Sub- Saharan Africa who are active in education, community outreach, governmental organisations, activism or with a pedagogical background.
