The International Graduate Program “Receptor Dynamics: Emerging Paradigms for Novel Drugs“ is a joint initiative of the Universities of Würzburg (coordinating institution with 4 offered positions), Erlangen-Nürnberg (2 positions), and Regensburg (1 position) which is funded by the Elite Network of Bavaria, Germany. The overall scientific focus is on exploring dynamic features of G protein coupled receptors (GPCRs), one of the prime targets for drug development and therapy, from the molecular level to microscopic and macroscopic functions.
