Employment Opportunity
SITAEL-Hellas is hiring a Senior Design Engineer (CODE: SDE_1) in Power and Analog Electronics Engineering. Position is based in Veria, Greece.
The ideal candidate must have solid knowledge of electronic circuit design tools for schematics capture; modeling and simulation skills are essential as well as the ability to prove out designs in practice through laboratory testing and board-level debugging. DC/DC converter knowledge is highly desirable, hands-on experience is a plus.

Education and Experience
• B.S./M.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or relevant field
• 2+ years of professional experience as an Analog Design Engineer; demonstrated success developing a variety of simulation tools while taking on increasing responsibility for analysis, design, implementation and deployment tasks

Required Skills / Qualifications
• Competence in the design and development of electronic/electrical systems
• Experience in PCB design & modeling tools (e.g. SPICE, Allegro, etc)
• In depth knowledge of power conversion
• High voltage DC/DC converter designs
• Flyback converters and associated magnetics
• Inverter bridge topologies
• Switching mode power supplies
• Analog signal processing
• Familiarity with Project Management methodologies

• Methodical, Quality and Results-oriented
• Ability to work within tight timelines
• Ability to learn new technologies
• Good interpersonal skills, adaptive, team player
• Very good written and oral communication skills both in English and Greek; good written and oral communication in Italian (Optional)
• Availability to travel abroad

Main Responsibilities:
• Interact with senior personnel to consider design, development and project planning approaches and collaborate with fellow design engineers
• Perform task breakdown, effort analysis and prioritization of assigned work
• Review technical documentation and follow established practices and procedures to achieve overall project performance, schedule, and quality standards
• Collaborate effectively with fellow engineers in Quality Assurance
