The Helmholtz School for Marine Data Science (MarDATA) is a joint activity by the marine institutes GEOMAR - Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel and the Alfred-Wegener-Institute (AWI) Helmholtz Centre for Polar and Marine Research, Bremerhaven, together with their university partners Kiel University, University of Bremen and Jacobs University in Bremen. MarDATA is funded by the Helmholtz Association and is part of the Helmholtz Information & Data Science Academy.
