The European Respiratory Society’s (ERS) RESPIRE Postdoctoral Research Fellowship programme (www.ersnet.org/fellowships) offers a platform for early career researchers to develop their skills in an international environment and supports them on their journey to becoming future leaders in the respiratory field. The fellowship programme receives funding from the European Union’s (EU) Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreements No 713406 and No 847462 (MSCA COFUND scheme).
The RESPIRE fellowship programme is open to researchers with a PhD or four years of full-time research experience from any discipline. Fellowship recipients have the flexibility to choose and develop their own research project, but research must be related to the respiratory field. Projects should be completed in 24 months (European Fellowships) or 36 months (Global Fellowships).
