The EURAXESS Voice of the Researchers (VoR) warmly welcomes applicants to their second conference. European research is a political priority as it is a key provider of growth and jobs. With more and more researchers coming out of Europe’s doctoral schools every year, it is important they are given a say on the future direction of European research. From funding to contracts to mobility, researchers face a host of hurdles before they can feel comfortably established in their career. This is why the EURAXESS Voice of the Researchers was established to give researchers in Europe a network to come together and convey their views thus allowing them to actively engage in shaping the European Research Area, with a particular focus on the attractiveness of European research careers, and get their message heard by policy makers.

Eligibility
The conference is open to researchers, research stakeholders and policy makers, covering issues such as European research careers and how to ensure researchers are equipped with the right skills in an increasingly competitive labour market. Only researchers who are residents in Europe at the time of registration and conference are eligible.

Costs
For selected participants travel and accommodation will be provided by the organizers. Snacks and refreshments in the evening of Thursday 26 November, as well as lunches and coffee breaks will be offered by the European Commission on both days.

Admissions is on a rolling basis.
