2 Engineering Internship Opportunities in UK

ESPA has two Internship opportunities in Northern Ireland for engineering students.

The host company is one of the UK's leading specialist GRP manufacturers from concept design to part manufacture. Their innovative, composite products are used in many sectors including automotive, hospitality and healthcare. They are currently working on a special project designing innovative lightweight vehicles for the electric vehicle market and the company owns and operates one of the largest CNC master pattern making machines in Europe.

The students will be ​undertaking the following tasks with their mentor:
Work with clients to understand the mechanical requirements in a range of modular construction projects
Assist in the design of all components using CAD
Prototyping models of glass reinforced plastic (GRP) designs to gain full perspective of the finished product
Process mapping to ensure build quality is maintained

This internship is the perfect opportunity for engineering students with good CAD skills & experience in Creo or SolidWorks. They will further develop their skills and gain international practical experience in the United Kingdom.
