The Transforming Antennas Center (TAC) at Florida International University (FIU) announces Research Assistantship openings for Ph.D. students. Prof. Georgakopoulos, Director of TAC, is looking for highly motivated and self-driven students with a strong background in antennas, RF systems and/or electromagnetics that would like to pursue a Ph.D. degree in cutting edge research areas related to: (a) antennas, (b) origami antennas, (c) reconfigurable antennas, (d) antennas for space applications, (d) beamforming networks, (e) MIMO systems, (f) electromagnetic surfaces, (g) machine learning methods on electromagnetics.
The Ph.D. students will perform their research activities at the Transforming Antenna Center (TAC), Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Florida International University, Miami, Florida, United States.
TAC is a Research Center that is devoted to world-class research in foldable, deployable, reconfigurable, and multifunctional electromagnetic systems.
