Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellowships in Basic Biomedical Science, UK and Ireland (2016)

Wellcome Trust is offering senior research fellowships for postdoctoral scientists to carry out independent research in Basic Biomedical Science. Applicants must be based within academic institutions across the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Fellowships may be taken up on a part-time employment basis, where appropriate. Applicants must have an eligible sponsoring host institution in the UK or RoI with the support of the relevant Head of Department, or equivalent, who can guarantee that you will be supported in leading their own independent research team and that adequate space and resources will be provided for the duration of the award.

Scholarship Application Deadline: The preliminary application deadline is 11 September 2015 and main application deadline is 6 November 2015.
