Description
The project Media Literate. Digitally Skilled: Ready for Anti-discrimination Campaign is a 10 day training course which will be held in Struga, Macedonia from 2 – 11 October 2015. In this training 40 participants with strong interest in the media literacy, fighting discrimination and hate speech, will empower young people to take active role in creating more socially inclusive society.
In overall, the training course will be based on non-formal approach and involved experts will pay attention that set of various working methods is used in order to meet different learning styles of participants and meet their needs and expectations thus the training course will include discussions, team and individual challenges, practical work, interactive presentations, problem solving challenges etc. Moreover, on regular basis, evaluation and reflection activities will be included in the program with aim to provide the participants an opportunity to reflect on their learning process and development new competencies.
Eligibility
Youth workers, youth leaders working/interested in the field of media and anti-discrimination campaigns over 18 years old from Finland, FYROM, Croatia, Turkey, Romania, Cyprus, Lithuania, Germany, Czech Republic, Greece, Spain and Poland.
Costs
Accommodation, meals are full covered, travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus + rules.
