Youth@Work Seminar: "Future Of Work For Young People"

This seminar will provide a platform for exploring trends and challenges of the future of work as well as searching and creating cross-sectoral responses to future needs.

GENERAL AIM
To offer a space for exchange for representatives from different sectors including, policy, practice and research, to explore the trends, challenges and responses on the future of work for young people. It also aims to explore the potential for cooperation and networking amongst different sectors.

Questions to be explored:
Explore and map the trends and challenges different types of actor identify in terms of future of Work from the perspective of their field
Discuss how youth work relates to the future of work– within the wider ecosystem of actors?
Elaborate on the COVID-19 pandemic impact on all sectors and discuss the direction and magnitude of change.
Critically assess the issue of Social Inclusion and empowerment of the workforce and discuss a diversity of issues of well-being; work-life balance…
Explore and learn about the responses of different actors and sectors to the current and future trends and challenges
Assess the responses and interventions by policy and practice
To inform participants about Youth@Work and its role within youth employability and entrepreneurship.
To communicate the achievements, action plans and recommendations of the Youth@Work Partnership.
