Postdoctoral Researcher & Research Fellow Positions in Computer Science, Aalto University, Finland (2015-2016)

Aalto University and the University of Helsinki, the two leading universities in Finland within computer science and information technology, are looking for several researchers in Computer Science in the following areas:

- Complex Systems Computation
- Bioinformatics of DNA sequencing and gene regulation
- Communication and Complexity Constrained Machine Learning for Big Data
- Data mining (2 different open positions)
- Probabilistic Machine Learning
- Inference on intractable models and interactive intent modelling
- Augmented research

Qualifications
Applicants are expected to have an excellent track record in scientific research in one or several fields of computer science. Good command of English is a necessary prerequisite.

Post docs must have completed their PhD degree, but negotiations can naturally be started earlier. Exceptionally, an early contract can be made with a different title. Research Fellows must have completed a postdoc period with excellent performance. Successful candidates for the Research Fellow positions are expected to have substantial postdoctoral experience from outside of the departments participating in the call.
