Marketing and Business Development Manager at AML-Atlantis Management Ltd in Malta

AML-Atlantis Management Ltd is a well-established company which has been setup in Malta since 2002, specializing in Crew Management services for Container Vessels, Multi Purpose Vessels and Dry Bulk Carriers and the Registration of vessels under the Malta Flag. AML-Atlantis Management Ltd’s expertise in Crew Management is offered to owners through its management team who have more than 20 years experience in shipmanagement. The company specializes in cargo vessels and with its agents in Germany, Ukraine, Poland and the Philippines, supplies ship owners/managers STCW qualified crew from its pool of repetitive seafarers who have good records of service contracts with the company and who have passed a thorough medical examination ascertaining their fitness for their position onboard.

AML-Atlantis Management Ltd is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Manager in Malta.

Main Functions and Responsibilities
– Leading comprehensive Marketing communication projects and campaigns
– Formulate all strategic and business development plans including preparation of budgets
– Carry out market research
– Develop strategies for digital marketing and market through social media networks
– Formulate all company newsletters and news articles
– Maintain the company’s online presence and marketing materials
– Actively seek out new clients and projects and maintain relationship with existing clients
– Manage and maintain consistent company branding for all communications materials
– Contact potential clients
– Produce video and slide presentations
– Upkeep of website and SEO
– Co-ordinate/organize trade fair stands of the company
– Work in office based in Malta but will be required to travel

Qualifications and skills
– Possess a University business degree specializing in marketing/marketing communications or equivalent
– Have a solid knowledge of the maritime field through working for various years in a maritime environment
– Must possess a sound and have a proven track record in developing, leading and implementing effective marketing and
marketing communication projects with at least 3 years experience in the field
– Must be a strong creative thinker with proven ability to develop and activate innovative marketing solutions
– Be proficient in digital marketing and social media platforms
– Be a Greek native speaker and have a good command of oral and written English
– Be abreast with international maritime affairs
– Be able to work on own initiative and meet tight deadlines
– Have strong analytical and project management skills
– Be confident and have a dynamic personality.
