Senior Software Engineer C++ at INTRASOFT International (Luxembourg)

NTRASOFT International, a leading European IT solutions provider, is seeking a professional for Luxembourg to cover the following opening:

- Senior Software Engineer C++ (Luxembourg).

Job Description: The appropriate candidate will join a team of highly qualified software developers based in Luxembourg and will participate in the development and maintenance of the client's operational system.

Required Skills:
- University degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- At least 5 years of C development in Unix (Solaris, Linux) and Windows environments
- Solid software engineering fundamentals: Design, OOP, Product lifecycles, development & debugging tools (CVS, GDB, valgrind, purify)
- Work experience with GCC/G++, Visual C++, STL, Boost
- Work experience with IPC (sockets, pipes, signals) & Multithreading programming (pthreads)
- Good knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL) and their APIs (OCI, ODBC)
- Have strong algorithmic skills and experience with complex data structures
- Provide a good understanding of Client/Server and Multiple-Tier application architectures,
- Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal).
