Archirodon is looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager in Middle East and/or North Africa.
Key responsibilities of the role are to:
- Assist the Commercial Manager in ensuring the availability of funds for cash outflows as required as well as in maintaining timely payment of personnel, suppliers, subcontractors and other parties.
- Monitor all financial and commercial obligations undertaken by the company under any agreement.
- Monitor the collection of receivables and insurance claims.
- Monitor that all necessary measures are taken for compliance with the host country laws and regulations, in terms of labour, taxes, customs, business operations, etc.
- Monitor the correct maintenance of financial and personnel records as well as the employee related logistics regarding transportation, accommodation and messing.
- Assist the Commercial Manager in preparing the required Vendor Lists, Subcontract and Service Provider Lists and Comparative Statements for approval.
- Monitor all company’s procurement and subcontracting procedures.
- Assist the Commercial Manager in the establishment of appropriate insurance policies and project contract requirements.
- Monitor the smooth operation of stores.
Essential prerequisites include:
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- Fluency in the English language (oral and written).
- Computer literacy.
- Master’s degree, ACCA and/or IFRS will be considered a plus.
- Knowledge of French and/or Arabic language will be considered a plus.
- Prior experience in the Construction Business and/or in multicultural environment will be considered a plus.
