Consultant at company specializes in circular economy (Athens)

The company specializes in circular economy is looking for an experienced Consultant who will join the Environmental Consulting Department.

The company needs you to help produce clear, concise, and compliant responses to EU & National Programs Calls, for public projects (e.g. YMEPERAA, PEP, FILODIMOS, GREEN FUND) and research programs (e.g. GGEK, ELIDEK, GREEN FUND, HORIZON, EIC, LIFE, EEA etc.), on domains of circular economy, sustainable waste management & environmental innovation topics.

What will you be bringing to the team?
• Consulting services focusing mainly on waste management projects.
• Implementing feasibility & technical finance studies and reports.
• Providing innovative and compelling proposals, in collaboration with relevant departments and/or external partners, for submission under open calls for European and National grants.
• Working together with internal and external to create persuasive proposal content that satisfies the requirements of relevant calls.
• Managing a workload that may involve handling various concept note assignments, proposal writing, and other activities as needed, in a time constrained setting.
• Able to search and spot available fundings that match our priorities.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience, preferably in a consulting firm

• Working knowledge of technical writing (proposals, reports, white papers, technical studies etc)

• Background in Environmental Studies, Engineering or a related subject (University Degree)

• MSc holder (desirable)

• Excellent command of the English language (written & verbal)

• Excellent use of MS Office

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Excellent communication & organizational skills

• Highly self-motivated and methodical, paying attention to detail

• Ability to meet strict deadlines by establishing priorities.
