Save the Children is the world's leading independent organisation for children.
Greece is one of the key frontlines in the current humanitarian crisis in Europe; facing an unprecedented wave of refugees and migrants as they arrive on the Greek islands and travel onwards to western and northern Europe. Over 450,000 people have arrived so far this year alone; compared to 40,000 in total in 2014.
