The IOB PhD and MD-PhD Program on Translational Visual Neurosciences offers a unique opportunity to make breakthrough discoveries in the function or dysfunction of the eye and the visual brain, as well as to develop radically new therapies for eye diseases. These therapies are urgently needed, since the prevalence of visual diseases is rising globally, and effective therapies are lacking for most of them.
As part of this program, IOB offers PhD and MD-PhD fellowships to outstanding candidates from diverse fields such as Biology, Medicine, Physics, Computer Sciences and Engineering who wish to pursue their research in any of our research groups (molecular and clinical research center)
