Seminar: "HUMAN RIGHTS AND YOUTH WORK : FROM FAR AWAY CONCEPTS TO DAILY PRACTICE"

When we work with young people on participation, citizenship, fight against discrimination… we are tackling the Human Rights. Are we aware of it ? Is our work linked to the improvement of access of young people to their fundamental rights ?

The general objective of the seminar is to reflect on the youth workers/social workers’ awareness on the link between their work and HR.

Sub-objectives are :
To explore and discuss Human Rights concepts, contexts and challenges
To clarify the relationship between youth work and Human Rights education
To relate our daily educational practice to these concepts and challenges
To open opportunities for new partnerships or new international projects
