You will be part of the Design & Digital Division in the Directorate General Communications. The Division develops the ECB’s digital strategy for communications activities related to the ECB and banking supervision. Our work involves designing, maintaining and creating content for the ECB’s external websites and audiovisual tools, devising communications solutions and producing digital publications.
We are currently working on a wide range of communications projects and initiatives designed to help the ECB become even more accessible to different audiences.
In your role as a trainee in the Webmaster team you will be part of the Web & Digital Publications team consisting of approximately 15 members of staff and will work closely with multimedia and publication specialists. The team is responsible for managing, maintaining and developing the external websites for the ECB, ECB Banking Supervision and European Systemic Risk Board.
As a trainee in the Webmaster team you will:
help maintain the ECB’s websites by publishing and updating content while applying usability and user experience (UX) concepts;
test and validate web pages across multiple devices and platforms to ensure accessibility;
evaluate user requirements and propose solutions in line with established best practices;
manage stakeholder expectations by involving them in the creation process and analysing their feedback;
collaborate with other teams across the ECB to learn about their needs and translate them into required web page changes.
