Open Vacancy at the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics

The Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics is looking for a Laboratory Scientific Officer to join the Neuroepidemiology Department – EMG Laboratory/Centre for Neuromuscular Disorders of the Cyprus Institute of Neurology and Genetics.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

JOB SUMMARY

The successful candidate will mainly perform electro neurodiagnostic services in patients with suspected neuromuscular disease, with a focus on nerve conduction studies (NCS) and electromyography (EMG). The candidate must work well independently and in a team-oriented environment, obtain optimal results, adhere to quality controls, and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a patient-oriented setting.

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING

• BA/BSc or equivalent degree in any Biological Science or related field.

An MSc in a similar field and/or prior work experience in NCS and EMG will be considered an advantage.
