The Health & Safety Senior Manager will have the following responsibilities:
Provide Health and Safety measures, assess risks associated with tools and equipment, job sites, and work environments within their assigned research market
Support staff with the identification of environmental aspects and determining the project objectives and target
Monitor Health & Safety incidents of injury, illness, and other situations
Develop hazard control processes, methods, and programs
Recommend solutions to issues that need improvement and design strategies to reduce incidents of illness, environmental accidents, and other issues that may affect public safety
Monitor implementation of safety plans according to plans and objectives
Maintain and manage equipment and processes related to each project of Health & Safety
Prepare future safety plans based on past experiences and facts, design training programs to provide safety awareness education
Support the Top Management in the Health & Safety Policy and Guidelines issue, in the Organization roles and responsibilities definition, for what concerns safety aspects and Health & Safety Management System standard issue
Responsible for ISO 14001 compliance, follow-up, and maintenance
Provide management teams with guidance on Health & Safety and confirm that the projects fulfill industry and federal guidelines
Follow the Company's Quality Policy and comply with current operational standards and legislative requirements
Work per the requirements of the written Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Technical Directives, and Protocols of the company's Quality System, that are related to the duties of the described position
Follow the rules of hygiene and control of health status as defined in the relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
