University of Jyväskylä is seeking to recruit eight (8) Doctoral Researchers for a fixed term of three years to the Doctoral Education Pilot for Mathematics of Sensing, Imaging and Modelling (DREAM). The positions are filled to the department of Mathematics and Statistics at the faculty of Mathematics and Science, as well as the faculty of Information Technology.
The Doctoral Education Pilot for Mathematics of Sensing, Imaging and Modelling (DREAM) will educate experts in a diverse and multidisciplinary setting encompassing mathematical and applied sciences. The pilot is connected to the Flagship of Advanced Mathematics for Sensing, Imaging, and Modelling (FAME), an internationally leading competence centre of universities, industrial and public sector partners. The vision of FAME is to provide cutting-edge solutions and research-based methodologies for various imaging and sensing problems arising in industry and society.
