Wireless Mobile networks are key enablers of the digital society, supporting all sectors, ranging from social media to industry, logistics, and healthcare. To handle the continuous exponential growth in data traffic combined with increasing requirements on latency, 6G mobile wireless networks and their devices are planned for deployment from 2030 onwards.
Two Ph.D. students will be involved in designing mm-wave trancseiver in advanced CMOS/SiGe technologies for 6G wireless communications, one will mostly focus on the transmitter architecture, design, impementaion and measurement and the other on the receiver side. The students should also act as a team and collaborate in the antenna interface design and demonstrating the mm-wave link.
