ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Follow up day-to-day activities of the Maintenance Department in design, modification and repair of all electrical components of the production equipment across the manufacturing site.
- Oversee the installation, repair, maintenance and proper operation of all control instruments, DCS and PLC’s.
- Monitor, measure, and improve predictive and preventive maintenance of all electrical equipment to reduce downtime.
- Solve issues utilizing troubleshooting and root cause analysis tool.
- Propose and implement improvements in safety, especially from electrical hazards and ensure all personnel is working in a safe and efficient manner.
- Coordinate the work of staff that is used for electrical works.
- Be able to return at work, at any time of the day, if it is required to maintain and repair any plant equipment or instrument (on call duty).

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 – 10 years of experience in electrical maintenance work in a high volume production facility.
- Working Knowledge of Plant Power Systems (HV, MV, LV, Distribution, VFD, DC drives, Protection systems)
- Working knowledge of controls (PLCs, DCS, Ladder logic, control languages)
- Hands on experience in installing electrical equipment and instruments. Can read and use easily electrical drawings.
- Working knowledge of the electrical code.
- Familiarity with computers. (MS Office is a must, SAP knowledge preferred).
