Senior Product Design Engineers μέσω της εταιρείας Future Trend (Αττική)

Our client, a leading multinational company, with unique innovative products in the field of consumer goods, is looking for Senior Product Design Engineers for its R&D center in Attiki, Greece.

The position: The role of the incumbent will be to perform product-engineering development and product engineering support activities for new product development.

The incumbent will report to the Product Design Engineering Manager and will have the authority to propose engineering design solutions, evaluate engineering design tools and propose best practices. His/her key tasks include to manage and monitor design research activities, to manage projects, to coordinate the R&D product specific knowledge team for prototype development, to test and evaluate, to organize and communicate relevant and latest patent publications. The function requires working in a team environment with other departments such as quality, plastics, process development, production, marketing and sales and working with external customers and suppliers depending upon project and program activities.

The requirements:
- Candidates must possess a University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Postgraduate studies will be considered favorably.
- Experience should include 5 or more years on the fields of product design, assembly design/automation concept and plastics/molding.
- They should have excellent knowledge in 3D design software, most preferably in PTC CAD/CAM –Competency Level III.
- They should speak and write English fluently.

Additionally, candidates should have experience, with companies that research and develop new products sold preferably for hand held consumer use (cell phones, hand tools, etc.). Candidate’s plastic engineering knowledge must include engineering design for injection molded parts that are assembled through high volume automation and understanding the R&D develop stages of typical new product development (concept, pilot and production phases). Candidates must be able to review testing reports and analysis in order to make design engineering decisions for part/product development. Candidates must also have project management experience, in order to plan, track, execute and follow-up project tasks and , team collaboration and communication skills through global communication tools (web meetings, teleconferencing).
