Post-doctoral Fellow(s) in Computational Science and Engineering

The Cyprus Institute invites applications for a highly motivated and qualified individual to join the Institute as a Post-Doctoral Fellow who will be integrated in the Computational Science and Engineering team of CaSToRC. The candidate will pursue research in the context of the nationally (RIF) funded projects ML-NANOCAT, NanoCarbonCaps, and NanoSuperCapS, focusing on the development and application as well of computational methods and simulations for materials with energy applications.

In general, the successful candidate is expected to:

Conduct research to further develop research skills and competencies, and publishing novel and significant results in selective peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Contribute to all aspects of sponsored Research, Innovation and/or Development projects (including conducting research, co-authoring publications, implementing deliverables, reporting activities, dissemination activities, etc).
Contribute to new grant proposals preparation.
