The International Center for Journalists offers Knight International Journalism Fellowship for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to two more years. The Fellowships will introduce innovations that improve the way journalists and media use mobile technology to inform and engage the public. The Senior Knight Health Journalism Fellow who may be from any country will be based in Kenya, Nigeria or South Africa. The Fellow will work with a team that includes other Knight Fellows focused on digital innovation and audience engagement strategies, and oversee health journalism specialists to be based in each of the four countries.

Fellowship is awarded in the field of health and development journalism. During the one-year Fellowship, Knight International Journalism Fellows focus on one or more of the four target portfolios – mobile, data, social media/networks and multimedia storytelling. ICFJ expects Fellows to work on multiple, complementary projects
