CONEX Fellowship Programme, University Carlos III of Madrid, Spain (2015)

This fellowship programme offers to experienced and very experienced researchers of any nationality a unique opportunity to step forward in their career development in Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M). UC3M is a Spanish public university of excellence, which stands out for its teaching, research, innovation and social commitment. It is located in Madrid, the top 5 European transportation hub and one of the most important culture heritage of the world. The UC3M is a young university, founded in 1989 and provides teaching of the highest quality and focused primarily on cutting-edge research and knowledge transfer.

Applicants are entirely free in the choice of their research topic, department and supervisor/mentor. The three main areas:

Two Schemes
- CONEX Very Experienced Professors: PhD holders with more than 10 years of research experience, to allow to set up your own, new research lines in UC3M.
- CONEX Experienced Professors: PhD holders with 4-10 years of research experience, to start or consolidate your own independent research team or project.

Fellowships Conditions
- Fellowships with a minimum duration of 36 months.
- A competitive salary with Social Security benefits included
- A mobility allowance, depending of candidate family charges
- A contribution to research expenses
