Artists and designers are invited to create posters or short films on digital citizenship topics as part of the Council of Europe’s 2025 European Year of Digital Citizenship Education.
The challenges brought about the rapid proliferation of disruptive technologies like ChatGPT have further emphasized the importance of the critical issues addressed by Digital Citizenship Education (DCE). Topics such as disinformation, digital literacy, cyberbullying, digital etiquette, online hate, speech, tolerance, personal data usage, and digital security are among the fundamental challenges individuals face in today’s digital world. This situation underscores the urgent need to intensify efforts and investments in Digital Citizenship Education to effectively address these evolving threats.
