In the framework of the current migration crisis in Europe, Tdh is organizing with Child Fund Alliance a 3 week needs assessment in Western Turkey and North Aegean/Dodecanese Greek Islands and in the Balkans starting Monday 18th January 2016 and ending on Sunday 7th February 2016. The purpose of this assessment is to provide Tdh and Child Fund Alliance with a clear overview of humanitarian needs and gaps, updated information on the situation in Child Protection, Health and WASH and a well-defined operational strategy to implement quickly humanitarian programmes in the region.
To that end, Tdh is looking for an experienced field coordinator able to lead the assessment and provide technical inputs on health and/or WASH.

Role: Coordinate the overall exploratory mission logistics and administration.
Time frame: Start (non negotiable) Monday 18th Jan 2016 3rd week of Jan: Turkey 4th week of Jan: Turkey/Greek islands 1st week of Feb: Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and possibly Croatia and Slovenia 2nd week of Feb: report writing.
Deliverable. Full report in Lausanne by Monday 15th Feb.
Profile At least 5 year experience in humanitarian aid High Proficiency in English, Arabic highly valued. Excellent writing skills Sound knowledge on assessments and evaluation Relevant degree in Health/WASH
