The European Banking Authority (EBA) is an independent EU Authority which works to ensure effective and consistent prudential regulation and supervision across the European banking sector. Its overall objectives are to maintain financial stability in the EU and to safeguard the integrity, efficiency and orderly functioning of the banking sector.
The traineeship programme is designed to bring recent graduates with Economics, Finance, Data Science or similar relevant to the area into the Economic & Risk Analysis Department of the Authority to contribute to various projects and topics.
Traineeship at the EBA is offered for an initial period of 6 (six) months and can be extended for a further period of up to 12 (twelve) months, not exceeding a total duration of 18 (eighteen) months. The conditions of the extension are subject to the performance of the trainee and the further needs of the agency.
