The organization seeks for:
1. Emergency Finance Admin Director
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous work in a developing country or resource-deprived environment at the management level required.
- Minimum of a college or university degree in Accounting or Business Administration; preferably a Master’s degree.
- Working experience with IMC, minimum 1 year
- Minimum 3-5 years managerial experience in a non-profit organization or equivalent experience, training and education; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Extensive experience in the administrative and financial management of overseas programs at the management level
- Extensive experience in working with computerized accounting systems, preferably ACCPAC
- Comprehensive knowledge and working experience with USAID, World Bank, EU, DfID, UN and other donors
- Experience in developing and managing procurement and logistical procedures and policies
- Skills and knowledge in program sustainability and capacity building, public-private partnerships and project monitoring and evaluation (both quantitative and qualitative methods)
- Strong writing and presentation skills
- Proven capabilities in leadership required
- Strong negotiation, interpersonal and organization skills
- Humanitarian experience.
- Ability to train others and work with minimum supervision.
- Motivated, enthusiastic and dynamic personality.
- Strong organizational skills and the capacity to analyze and prioritize needs.
- Fluency in English is required.
2. Emergency WASH Manager
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional degree in engineering, hydro-geology, public health or relevant technical WASH specialization
- A minimum of two years of relevant work experience
- Good understanding of WASH sector and its components
- Good understanding and working knowledge of standards including Sphere and WHO
- Sound skills in staff supervision, training, capacity building and development
- Ability to design, develop and deliver the projects
- Practical experience and understanding of project cycle management
- Practical experience in program management (multiple projects) and their coordination
- Ability to compile, adjust, manage and spend out a budget
- WASH emergency response experience including rapid needs assessment and analysis
- Experience in managing & supervision of external contractors
- Experience of working closely with finance and logistics on activity and procurement planning to ensure on track spending.
Desirable Requirements:
- Ability to contribute to and develop good quality case studies lessons learned and best practice documents
- Understanding of INGOs and government institution interface
- Ability to develop objectives and select relevant indicators for project tasks
- Experience in hygiene promotion TOT trainings and campaigns
- Experience of working in collaboration and consortium with other INGOs (1&5)
- Experience and understanding of key donors policy, guidelines and strategies e.g. OFDA, EC, USAID, ECHO, DFID, UNHCR
- Understanding of MOUs, stakeholder analysis and partnerships.
