The EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing is seeking talented individuals from Physics, Chemistry, Engineering and Biological Sciences for the research, development and analysis of the next generation of Additive Manufacturing and 3D Printing (AM & 3DP) systems, software and materials.
This enhanced PhD programme has been specifically tailored to allow you to explore the whole space of AM, ranging from new processes to new concepts in materials and design. It will equip you with the broadest experience and specific knowledge in 3D Printing for you to be part of this manufacturing revolution.
The Centre for Doctoral Training is based at the UK’s foremost research institutions in AM and 3DP, led by the University of Nottingham in partnership with the University of Liverpool, Loughborough University and Newcastle University, with industrial partners in numerous manufacturing sectors, including automotive and aerospace. Many disciplines are covered, including process and software development, IT & systems, biological sciences and chemistry, materials development and characterisation, product design and multi-physics analysis.
