Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical and humanitarian action-driven organization that offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centers (OC) supported by 21 sections and 24 associations worldwide.
MSF in Greece provides humanitarian and medical assistance to the refugee and migrant populations fleeing conflict in their home countries and following a migration route via Greece and the Balkans towards Northern Europe.
The organization in Greece seeks for:
Team Support Psychologist (Kos, Leros, Lesvos, Eidomeni), staying a minimum of 7 days in each location.
Requirements:
Clinical Psychologist (Master Degree).
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, previous MSF experience will be considered as an asset
- Fluent Greek and English, oral and written
- Ability to offer psychosocial support to colleagues coming from various cultural backgrounds (cultural sensitivity)
- Experience in trauma and stress management
- Empathy, patience, discretion, confidentiality, flexibility
- Strong organization skills
- Good computer skills : Word, Excel and Power Point.
