Fifteen (15) Postdoctoral Fellowships, Ikerbasque - Basque Foundation for Science, Spain (2016)

Ikerbasque, the Basque Foundation for Science has launched a new call for researchers wishing to come to the Research Institutions in the Basque Country.
These Fellowships are intended to offer young promising researchers a track towards a PI role and independent research.

Description
We are offering 5 years contract positions for 15 postdoctoral researchers to develop their research at any of the Basque Research Institution: Universities, BERCs (Basque Excellence Research Centres), CIC/CRCs (Cooperative Research Centres), and Technological Research Centres.

The applicants must have their PhD completed between 1/1/2006 and 31/12/2013. This eligibility period will be extended under special circumstances such as maternity.

5 years contract. During the initial years of the Fellowships, the research outcome of host research groups should be increased with fellow’s work and he/she should be able to acquire the necessary skills for a research leader role.

Support letter from the PI or scientific coordinator of the host institution/department/group is mandatory. Please check this point with the institution.
