The Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems in Dresden announces the opening of one or several Postdoctoral Positions in the area of Biological Physics, to work with Jan Brugués, Michael Hiller, Frank Jülicher and Vasily Zaburdaev. The area of research ranges from statistical physics of soft matter and nonequilibrium processes and the physics of cells and tissues to computational biology.
The Institute provides a stimulating environment due to an active in-house workshop program and a broad range of other research activities. Strong experimental groups are nearby, both in the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics as well as the Biotechnology Center of the Technical University of Dresden and other local research laboratories.
