The PhD student is required to conduct independent research, supervised by a (team of) professor(s), and to incorporate the findings of his or her research in a doctoral dissertation. In addition, the PhD student will be involved in teaching activities at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.
Requirements
Applicants should have a MPhil / Research master (e.g. our Business in Society Programme) or an equivalent programme (e.g. Junior Researcher Programme) with good grades in Economics, Business Administration, Operations Research, Sociology, or a related discipline. We expect candidates to show a proactive research orientation and to be proficient in written and spoken English.GMAT/GRE test results are required from all applicants. The candidates are expected to apply with their own research proposals written in accordance with the standard NWO (Dutch Science Foundation) guidelines. The topic of the research proposal must fit with one or more research programmes of ABRI.
The salary will be in accordance with university regulations for academic personnel, and amounts € 2.532 gross per month during the first year and increases to € 2.778 gross per month during the third year, based on a full-time employment.
