The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental and non-profit organization that works in more than 35 countries around the world. DRC has recently established a presence in Greece where aims at delivering immediate assistance and protection-guided emergency response to refugees and migrants in the Greek island of Lesvos based on international humanitarian standards and in line with the Greek government strategy.
The organization in Greece seeks for:
1. Logistic and Procurement Assistant
Required Qualifications:
- Relevant university degree
- Good computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel…)
- Well-developed organizational and planning skills
- Able to communicate both verbally and in written in English and Greek
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience working in Lesvos is a plus
- NGO experience preferred
- Punctuality and respect for rules and procedures
- Can work independently, i.e. with minimal supervision and able to work well under pressure
- Driving licence holder
- Must be able to maintain highest level of confidentiality regarding work-related information and data.
The position will be based in Moria/Mytilene, Lesvos (Greece).

- High professional ethics.
