Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international independent medical and humanitarian action-driven organization that offers assistance to populations in distress, to victims of natural or man-made disasters and to victims of armed conflict, without discrimination and irrespective of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. The MSF movement is built around 5 operational centres (OC) supported by 23 sections and offices worldwide. The MSF-Mission in Greece managed by Operational Center Brussels provides humanitarian and medical assistance to the refugee and migrants populations fleeing conflict in their home countries and following a migration route via Greece and the Balkans towards Northern Europe.
The organization in Greece seeks for:
1. Assistant Head of Mission (Athens)
Qualifications
- Social/Political Sciences or relevant field,
- Fluent oral and written command of Greek and English, French and Arabic will be considered as an asset
- Previous experience in humanitarian aid, preferably with MSF.
- Essential, very good understanding of the functioning of the different administrations on the local country (critical).
2. Deputy Project Coordinator ( Eidomeni)
Qualifications:
- University-level studies and/or Medical / paramedical qualification.
- Fluent oral and written command of Greek and English
- Essential previous experience of at least two years required in the field of humanitarian aid with MSF or other NGOs.
- Working experience in developing countries, will be considered as an asset.
3. Medical Coordinator Assistant (Athens)
Qualifications:
- Medicine or paramedical degree essential. Specialization or training in public Health, desirable.
- Fluent oral and written command of Greek and English
- Minimum 5 years working experience in health sector.
- Desirable working experience in MSF or other NGO’s.
4. Deputy Head of Mission (Athens)
Qualifications
- University degree / Master degree desirable
- At least two years of experience in humanitarian assistance management, preferably in management/coordination positions in MSF or other NGOs.
- Strong representation skills
- Essential working experience in developing countries
- Fluency in Greek and English (C1 Proficient User).

5. Medical Activity Manager (Greece).
Requirements:
Education: Medical Doctor Diploma and licence to practice in Greece.
Languages: Greek and English essential, French is an asset.
Experience: 2 year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training).
Knowledge: Computer literacy essential
Experience working with vulnerable populations and victims of violence is an asset
Teamwork, intercultural sensitivity, flexibility are essential.
