The Giorgio Cini Foundation offers two different types of residential scholarships to Italian and international scholars wishing to spend a research period in Venice between April 2015 and April 2016. Up to 3 Type A Scholarships worth 12,500 euros each for a period of six months are available to PhD students who must not be over 35 years old on 31 January 2015. Up to 6 Type B scholarships worth 6,250 euros each are awarded for post-doctorate students who must not be over 40 years old on 31 January 2015 for a period of three months.

Scholarships are awarded in Italian culture studies especially that of the Veneto – with an interdisciplinary approach in one of the following fields: art history, literature, music, drama, early printed books, Venetian history and comparative cultures and spiritualities.
