Professional Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or other relevant field;
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in developing managing M&E processes and a sound technical understanding of contemporary M&E principles, methods and approaches;
- Experience in the development or humanitarian sector, preferably in an INGO;
- Strong measurement, analytical, systematic-thinking, planning and organizational skills;
- Demonstrated experience and excellent skills developing qualitative and quantitative data collection tools;
- Demonstrated experience and excellent skills developing logical/results frameworks, indicators and other key M&E tools;
- Demonstrated experience and excellent skills in data/information management and analysis, with experience using databases and software applications;
- Demonstrated experience and capacity in conducting field-level data collection and data entry;
- Experience in capacity building and team building;
- English fluency, both verbal and written, required; Greek, Arabic or Farsi language skills an advantage.
- Transportation Manager (Molyvos).
Qualifications:
- Degree or professional certification in Operations Management, Business Management or related field strongly preferred.
- At least 3 years’ experience managing a large multi-site Transportation operation, preferably within an INGO setting.
- Demonstrated excellence in training and capacity-building of specialist and non-specialist staff in Fleet Management.
- Ability to write narrative and analytical spread sheet reports.
- Proven computer literacy in MS-Word, MS-Excel MS-Access and related programs required.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.

Education: High School education; certificate in early childhood education or social work preferred.
Work Experience: Experience working with children or women – can include summer camps, nursery schools and/or charity or social assistance organizations such as shelters or assistance for vulnerable groups.
Demonstrated Skills and Competencies: Clear understanding of and interest in the well being of women and children (including adolescent girls) in the emergency context.
Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients.

- Knowledge of national human rights organizations, local legal aid networks and the protection community operating in Lesvos preferred INGO experience preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for beneficiaries
- Positive and professional attitude, including ability to lead and work well in a team setting
- Strong ability to maintain composure, prioritize work under pressure, and work in a difficult environment
- Personal qualities: Works well in and promotes teamwork, comfortable in a multi-cultural environment, flexible and able to handle pressure well.
- Fluency in English. Preference will be given to candidates with fluency in the following languages: Arabic, Farsi, Dari, Pashto, Kurdish.
- Protection Officer (Lesvos).
