The European Politics research group at the Center for Comparative and International Studies at ETH Zurich, Switzerland, is seeking doctoral and/or post-doctoral researchers. The European Politics group does research on European integration and EU politics in a wide range of areas. Please consult our website athttp://www.eup.ethz.ch.

The thematic orientation of the new positions is open. Starting dates are negotiable. Post-docs are expected to submit a grant application within the first years of employment. PhD positions are for up to 4 years, post-doctoral positions for up to 6 years. Gross salaries for PhD positions are in the range of 47k-50k CHF per year, and 86k-95k CHF for post-docs. Teaching and administrative obligations are minimal. Funds for conference and research travel and research assistants are available.

We are seeking political scientists with a very good Master’s degree (for the PhD positions) or doctoral degree (for the post-doc position), strong methodological skills, and an excellent command of English. You may apply with a nearly completed degree.
