Newcastle University’s Faculty of Medical Sciences is 94th for Life Sciences and Medicine and 37th for Dentistry in the QS World University Rankings 2014-15. The Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2014 results place us 8th in England for combined “Medical” Units of Assessment and Medical Schools, with 85% of outputs judged as world leading or internationally excellent. We rank in the top 10 for clinical medicine, biological sciences, and neuroscience & psychology.
