Oxfam is an organization which believes in justice and solidarity, and work to change the world. Oxfam was created during the Greece faming in since 1962 and after 62 years Oxfam is back in Greece to support in the emergency intervention response since September 2015 Oxfam engaged in a needs assessment in Athens and the islands of Lesvos and Kos, focused on the People on the Move and the existing humanitarian aid capacity.

- Protection Officer (Position based in Lesvos or Athens or Ydomeni)
Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferably in social science, Sociology, Development Studies, Gender and Development, International Affairs, Law or other relevant field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in senior management position especially in the field of gender and development in any development organization.
- Experience in rights based program development and management on women’s’ and girls’ empowerment is mandatory.
- Three years’ experience working on gender and protection issues in humanitarian contexts.
- Technical expertise in gender and protection in relation to humanitarian crises.
- Good levels of spoken and written English.
- Commitment to a rights-based approach, protection and gender equality.
- Understanding of monitoring processes, learning, adaptation and evaluation.
- Ability to work in multi-cultural team.
- Excellent communication skills.
Willingness to work in insecure environments and a high level of adaptability and initiative.

- Logistics Officer (Position based in Lesvos or Athens or Ydomeni).
Essential:
- 2-3 years in Accounting/Finance position.
- Bachelors’ degree Economics, Engineering, Management, Transport and Logistics.
- Languages: English and Greek.
- IT: user level knowledge, good knowledge of Excel.
- Team work.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Organisation and capacity to prioritise and plan.
- Ability to work under stress.
Desirable:
- Ability to work under pressure and preparedness to work long hours if needed.
- Confidence to work alone but to judge when help is needed or there is an opportunity to share learning.

Qualifications and Experience:
- A Master’s Degree in international affairs, political science, journalism, or related field, which includes the study of international humanitarian issues, particularly gender issues.
- A minimum of five years of professional experience involving some combination of overseas work as well as advocacy and policy work.
- Strong communication skills.
- Organizational skills, including an ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Research skills necessary to track and stay up-to-date on legislative developments.
- Excellent computer skills (MS Publisher, MS Word and Excel).
- Strong networking skills.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Flexible, highly motivated self-starter.
- Fluency in written and spoken English required.
