We work directly with communities and we seek to influence the powerful to ensure that poor people can improve their lives and livelihoods and have a say in decisions that affect them. We work with thousands of partners in countries around the world, and employ staff in a wide variety of posts. Here in Greece, we have been operating since October 2015 in response to the needs of refugees. We have been implementing a multi-sectoral response in Lesvos, focusing on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (Wash), Food and Non-Food Item (NFI) distribution, advocacy and protection activities. Oxfam is committed to increasing the support it provides in Greece and will begin operations also in the mainland.

- Logistics Officer (Position based in the region around Ioannina).
Essential
- 2-3 years in Accounting/Finance position.
- Bachelors’ degree Economics, Engineering, Management, Transport and Logistics.
- Languages: English and Greek.
- IT: user level knowledge, good knowledge of Excel.
- Team work.
- Ability to solve problems.
- Organization and capacity to prioritize and plan.
- Ability to work under stress.
Desirable:
- Ability to work under pressure and preparedness to work long hours if needed.
- Confidence to work alone but to judge when help is needed or there is an opportunity to share learning.
- High level of integrity and accountability.
