The Map Your Meal International Summer School on ‘Creating a Sustainable Alternative to the current global food system’ is inviting young people to come together and jointly explore how the global food system works, how lives are interconnected with those involved in the production of food, and how all this impacts the planet, and finally what role can you play in order to make the food system more sustainable.
The Summer School will include interactive workshop sessions exploring the key concepts of Global Education within the context of the Sustainable Development Goals, sessions with invited guest speakers on food security and food sovereignty, as well as visits to local farms or other sustainable agricultural projects. It will also offer the space for participants to share their own experiences and learning with the rest of the group.
