Oxfam has worked in Greece since September 2015, as part of a regional response, which includes the Western Balkan countries of the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYRoM) and Serbia as well as Italy. Since February 2016, Oxfam is officially registered as an International Organisation in Greece. Oxfam initiated interventions on the Greek Island of Lesvos in October 2015, in the Moria reception and registration facility which uses the EU "HotSpots" approach, the Kara Tepe centre and the port of Mytilini. Now, as from March 2016, Oxfam opened an operational centre in Loannina, Western Greece (Epirus) where Oxfam is currently in the planning phase for food via commodity/value vouchers, NFIs, shelter items and WASH services, as well as creating partnerships with local partners.
We are looking for a person with a suitable qualification in a discipline related to Public Health Engineering, Civil Engineering Construction Engineering. Experience could substitute for a formal qualification, but not vice versa.
