Cass Business School alumnus Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou is the Chairman of easyGroup and is most famous for founding easyJet at the age of 28. He graduated with a Cass MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance in 1988. His foundation, the Stelios Philanthropic Foundation is committed to dynamic philanthropy: making a positive, exponential difference through funding, inspiring and advising education, entrepreneurial and environmental initiatives.

Value: 3 scholarships, each worth £10,000

Criteria

Eligible courses: All finance-related courses, with preference for MSc Shipping, Trade and Finance or MSc Energy, Trade and Finance.

Geographical requirements: Must be from the EU with preference for Greek and Cypriot applicants.

Academic requirements: Must be able to demonstrate academic excellence.

Financial need: Must be able to demonstrate financial need.
