17/06/2016 - Seminar: EVS-20 years of Integration, Inclusion and Internationalisation (Oslo)

The Norwegian National Agency of Erasmus+: Youth in Action is organising an event to celebrate the 20th anniversary of EVS.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of EVS, we will host a conference to celebrate the achievements of the EVS programme so far, and also look at how mobility and international voluntary service amongst young Europeans can contribute to integration and inclusion. We would like former EVS volunteers who lived in Norway between 1996 and 2016 to join this event!

The event will take place in Oslo on Friday the 17th of June from 11.00 to 22.00. Participants should arrive on Thursday evening and depart on Saturday morning.

Tentative program:
11.00 - 15.30 Seminar on EVS and voluntary service
16.00 – 18.00 Visit to 22 July Centre or Nobel Peace Centre
19.00 – 22.00 Banquet & celebration

The language of the event will be Norwegian, and in order to benefit from their participation, applicants should have a fair understanding of Norwegian.

- Norwegian EVS volonteers
- Former and current EVS volunteers in Norway
- Norwegian Host and sending organisations.
